Thoughts Along the Path

“It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.”
I Corinthians 13:7-8
God’s love is amazing, as St. Paul testifies, this “love never ends.” God has placed someone in your path who witnesses a love that also never ends, a love that could only come from God. This person comes along side of you when you are sad, happy and all those times in between. You may still feel their loving arms around you and even though they are no longer with you in body, they are forever with you in spirit. Think about the mom in your life that helped you through a hard time and made you feel like you were the most amazing person in the world. Think about the one that made you feel loved when nobody was there to offer you comfort. Consider the one who really, really listened to you, not only the words coming out of your mouth but also the stirrings of your soul; the one who has been there for you and put their life on the line for you. There was nothing you could say or do that would keep them from loving you. You have been blessed by the gift of grace that God has given you; a gift that needs to be celebrated and cherished. Thank Jesus for your mom, who witnessed and continues to witness the love God placed in her heart to be shared with you, especially you.
