So, You Think
You're A Christian, Huh?
(A.K.A. "How to become a Christian")

The FACTS

The Bad Stuff:
- NOBODY has lived a perfect life.
  ("For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God..." Romans 3:23)
- Our bad choices created a SEPARATION from us and God.
  ("For the WAGES of sin is DEATH..." Romans 6:23a)
- NOTHING good we do on our own will bridge the gap.
  ("No one will be declared righteous in His sight by observing the Law; rather, through the Law
  we become conscious of sin." Romans 3:20)
The Good Stuff:
- God saw our need and sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to HELP us.
  ("For God so loved the world that He gave us His one and only Son..." John 3:16a)
- Jesus lived a PERFECT life and met the STANDARD for us by dying for our sins.
  ("God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the
  righteousness of God" 2 Corinthians 5:21)
- Jesus became the ONLY way to eternal life and love in God.
  ("I am the WAY and the TRUTH and the LIFE. No one comes to the Father except through
  ME" John 14:6a)
The REALLY Good Stuff:
- Jesus' was RESURRECTED after His death!
  ("Don't be alarmed... you are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen!
  He is not here." Mark 16:6)
- We are OFFERED a chance to live with Jesus and God when we die.
  ("If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised
  Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9)
- The way to heaven is free, and offered only through JESUS.
  ("Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other Name under heaven to men by
  which we must be saved." Acts 4:12)

Your CHANCE
Are you willing to place God at the number one spot in your life?
Are you willing to surrender your life to His love and care?
Are you willing to risk losing your eternity with God
because you were just too stubborn to let Him be your Lord?

The Bible tells us that there IS a Heaven and there IS a Hell.
The Bible is a reliable book (despite what you may have heard),
and has been tested both internally and externally for errors.
There aren't any.

So if what is says is true, then you have some thinking to do.

If you're willing to let God love you now and forever,
then pray this prayer...

Dear God, I've not been living the way I know I should. I realize now that this has caused tension
between You and me that has separated us. Thank you for loving me so much that you were willing
to let Jesus die on the cross for me. I accept His act of love, and ask you to forgive me for my sins. Help
me to surrender my life to you every day, and in doing so, make you my Lord.
In Jesus' name I pray this prayer, Amen.

But, just one last question...

Do you really realize what you're giving up?

Someone once said that if you're a Christian,
earth is the only HELL you'll ever know.

But, if you're not a Christian, earth is the
only HEAVEN you'll ever know.
